Connect to The Exchange

24 July 2019

The South East Midlands just wouldn’t be the same without the people, places and businesses. It would quite literally be ‘th t Midd’. Doesn’t have the same ring to it, right?

To ensure that the community stays at the heart of everything we do, we’ve partnered with the Government to produce the area’s Local Industrial Strategy.

This Strategy is a long-term plan to realise innovation, further improve connectivity and create a balanced environment that provides opportunity for our businesses and enhances our vibrant, sustainable communities.

Aylesbury Vale’s latest development, The Exchange, is a fantastic example of partnership working with Local Authority, Aylesbury Vale District Council, to create an environment where people want to live, visit, work and come together.

The Exchange is the perfect hub for the community. The stunning public space features a number of inspiring, thought-provoking sculptures and empowering statements threaded into the paving, tree grills and street furniture – highlighting Aylesbury Vale’s Paralympic history while creating a space for the future.

Having already hosted its first community event, The WhizzFizz festival and with new restaurants opening July/August 2019, The Exchange is quickly becoming the heart of Aylesbury Towns community.

Our goal is to enhance the South East Midlands for you. Which is why we invested £3.3m of Local Growth Fund into the development of The Exchange.

We want to connect people together in places that are well designed, clean and green. The Exchange is a perfect example of this in action.
