This workshop, delivered in partnership with the Carbon Trust Green Business Fund, will help you to understand where you can achieve real savings on your business’ energy costs. It will be presented by an expert from the Carbon Trust with an introductory presentation from one of SEMLEP’s Growth Hub’s business advisers.

You will learn:

  • How to understand and reduce your energy use and bills through behavioural and low-cost measures
  • A breakdown of major areas of energy consumption in small to medium sized businesses
  • How to access free remote and onsite energy audits and equipment implementation advice from the Green Business Fund

Meet your trainer:

Stephanie Hacker, Carbon Trust

Stephanie has worked as an Analyst within the Business Services team at the Carbon Trust since 2018. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with SMEs to help them become more energy efficient through the Green Business Fund programme and the Start2Act, Horizon 2020 EU initiative. In addition, Stephanie has supported on incubation projects for start-ups looking to launch their energy efficient LED technology into the market.

The Carbon Trust Green Business Fund is the energy efficiency support service for small and medium-sized companies in England, Wales and Scotland. It provides direct funded support through energy assessments, training workshops, and equipment procurement support.
