The Growing Innovation Fund was created to support the wider strategic economic aims of the UK. Focused on strengthening innovation, supporting decarbonisation and assisting with the commercialisation of ideas, we invite businesses with future projects that will support these aims to apply for capital funding.
The Growing Innovation Fund allocation is £3,864,500. The maximum grant intervention through the programme will be up to 50% of eligible capital from £100,000 up to a maximum of £300,000.
We are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for projects that may be suitable for capital funding. Once your EOI has been approved you will be invited to submit a full application. The last date of receipt of Expressions of Interest is 17th May 2024.

Grant Panel review and decision based on funding criteria. Where approved an offer letter sent to applicant
Speak to a business advisor before submitting your Expression of Interest. A business adviser will be able to provide guidance on the application process and whether your project will be eligible
Read the eligibility guidance notes, to gain a thorough understanding of the funding programme
Once the Expression of Interest form is complete, you will be contacted by a Growth Hub business adviser within five working days. If eligible, the business adviser will advise you to proceed to full application and share the application form with you. We strongly recommend that you read through all capital grant information, and speak to one of our business advisers before proceeding with your Expression of Interest.
