This Bucks Health and Social Care Ventures programme workshop is fully funded and free to access . We have a number of workshops planned, if you would like to find out more then please check our website for further details of the support you can receive.

This 90-minute workshop will be facilitated by Bucks HSC Ventures and delivered by Dr James Somauroo from somX.

Reasons and ways to quickly and easily generate consistent content through blogs, podcasts, video and social media
A tutorial on how to launch a podcast in less than an hour

Using effective communication to secure investment, customers and partnerships across the NHS, private sector, employers, insurers and consumers in healthcare
Tips to help companies raise investment

James Somaroo

James supports the best healthtech startups in the world with media and investment through his agency, somX. He covers healthtech for Forbes as a contributor and hosts The Health-Tech Podcast, which is listened to in 90 countries. He is an anaesthetics and ICU doctor by training, has held roles in leadership, management and innovation at NHS England, Health Education England and the British Medical Journal and previously directed two healthtech accelerators; one that provided startups with market access to the NHS, saving £48M for the UK health service and the other building deep technology companies. He has degrees in medicine, biomedical sciences and education and is a guest lecturer on healthtech innovation and entrepreneurship at academic institutions around the world.

Please note that the workshops are funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and are available to eligible SME applicants as part of the Bucks HSC Ventures programme.
