Recovery and Resilience Grants

Last updated 09:30, 9 December 2021

The Recovery and Resilience Grant scheme is currently closed for new expressions of interest.

About the Scheme

The Recovery and Resilience Grant scheme offers match funding to local businesses to invest in new technologies, plant equipment or machinery to help businesses create employment opportunities. The grants are designed to build resilience for businesses that have been affected by Covid-19 by supporting investment projects that will create a significant, positive impact on the business’s future.

The minimum grant amount that can be applied for is £5000, and the maximum grant available is £50,000.

The grants cover a maximum of 50% of the total price of a project and are designed to aid future recovery, and as such, there is a requirement for businesses to plan for jobs to be created as a result. As a guide, businesses are expected to create one job per £10,000 of grant.

* We regret that we cannot accept applications for building works relating to EOIs submitted after 30th September 2021

It’s important that businesses are aware that funding is subject to availability and expressions of interest will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis. SEMLEP’s Growth Hub reserves the right to close the Expression of Interest period at any point, depending on expressions of interest received. We strongly recommend completing the expression of interest at your earliest convenience.

How to apply

Eligible businesses are invited to begin the application process during an Expression of Interest period. To be kept up to date on the scheme, please sign up to the SEMLEP’s Growth Hub newsletter.

The Recovery and Resilience Grant scheme is currently closed for new expressions of interest. We apologise for any disappointment.
