Recovery and Resilience Grants

Last updated 9:30 am, 30 June 2021

Due to high demand, this round of the Recovery and Resilience Grants scheme is now closed for new Expressions of Interest. We apologise for any disappointment.

The scheme offers match funding to businesses to invest in new technologies, plant equipment, machinery, or premises growth to help businesses create employment opportunities.

The minimum grant amount that can applied for is £5000, and the maximum grant available is £50,000. The grants are designed to build resilience for businesses that have been affected by Covid-19 by supporting investment projects that will create a significant, positive impact on the business’s future.

The grants cover a maximum of 50% of the total price of a project and are designed to aid future recovery, and as such, there is a requirement for businesses to plan for jobs to be created as a result. As a guide, businesses are expected to create one job per £10,000 of grant.

How to apply

Due to high demand, the decision has been made to close this round of Expressions of Interest. If you have already submitted an Expression of Interest, they will be dealt with in the order received, and a Business Adviser will be in touch to take you through an initial diagnostic exercise to determine the eligibility of your business and support you through the grant application process.

Completed applications must be submitted in full (including all additional documents) by midnight on 28 July 2021. Applications received after this time will be rolled forwards monthly, subject to funding availability.
