CBC Business Boost

Overcome your barriers to growth

Empowering businesses and charities for a sustainable tomorrow

Cranfield University, in collaboration with Central Bedfordshire Council, has launched a range of fully funded Business Growth and Decarbonisation programmes, including grants. It is funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF).

Through this programme, businesses based in Central Bedfordshire can apply for fully funded scholarship places, on a variety of Cranfield University’s prestigious courses for business leaders. Participants who attend these courses will then have the opportunity to apply for grant funding to implement their business growth and decarbonisation plans.

The Central Bedfordshire Scholarship and Grant Programme consists of two interventions. One to support Business Scale-up and Resilience and the second to support Local Business Decarbonisation.

Intervention 1 – Business Scale-Up and Resilience

Intervention 2 – Local Business Decarbonisation

Eligibility criteria

For this programme, enterprise means a sole trader, micro business, small and medium-sized enterprise, or large business. It also includes social enterprises where these engage in economic activity.

Applicants may apply for one scholarship and one grant from each programme intervention.

Grant applications can only be made once the applicant has attended 12 hours on one of the Central Bedfordshire Scholarship courses.
