Aerospace Unlocking Potential (Aerospace UP) aims to support the aerospace supply chain in the Midlands by helping to unlock its innovation potential. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by the University of Nottingham and the Midlands Aerospace Alliance.
Who can benefit?
The project supports Midlands based SMEs who have an innovative project idea that is relevant to the aerospace sector. Companies can already be operating in the sector or have ambitions to do so.
How can I benefit?
- Grant funding of between £1000 – £100,000 for innovative projects relevant to the aerospace industry. The project will reimburse 42.67% of the eligible project costs.
- Access to the Precision Manufacturing Centre at the University of Nottingham, with up to 12 hours of free support and access to state-of-the-art equipment and expertise.
- Ongoing business support including workshops, events, and networking.
- The opportunity to host a student in your business for a year-long placement or six-week internship with some of the associated costs covered by Aerospace Unlocking Potential.
