Job Title: Growth Hub Manager
Vicky has worked in the business support arena for over ten years. She is passionate about business growth and investing time in businesses and supporting them in their development. Her experience spans a number of aspects of business support including securing and running European funded programmes to help businesses, designing initiatives to support high growth businesses, business consultancy and running her own business.
She has spent the past three years managing the Business Growth team at Central Bedfordshire Council, leading on areas including a £3m innovation support project for businesses in partnership with regional universities and developing an account management approach to business support.
Her experience spans the public sector, private sector and charity sector and includes international experience – having spent six years of her career in South Africa. She is a strong believer in partnership working and bringing the best people and organisations together to support businesses.
Outside of work, a lot of Vicky’s time is spent enjoying family life with her husband and two young children. She particularly enjoys holidays, having fun with the kids and time for an occasional spa day with friends!
