The Future of Transport

Organiser: Green Business Network

Date & Time: 30 Sep 2020 - 2:00 pm-3:15 pm

Are electric cars really green? Is home delivery better for the environment? What vehicles should I buy for my fleet? Will hydrogen save us? Will I look good in lycra?

If you have questions about transport, our September seminar will be the perfect chance to find answers.

Transport is something we all use, all the time (well, maybe not for the last few months), and we all have questions and opinions, about it. Our transport system was already changing before the pandemic. The government is grappling with how we drastically cut transport emissions for health and climate reasons. Now, the future seems more uncertain with the airline industry in tatters, and working from home the new normal.

Our speaker for this session is Dominic Scholfield, a transport consultant, who advises public and private sector fleets. He also sits on several industry and government policy working groups.

Rather than second guess what you want to hear, he’s offered to prepare a talk that answers your specific questions. What is it you want to know?

Not only will Dominic build his presentation around the questions you have, he’ll be happy to debate the points with the audience. This will be a truly interactive session. Please submit your questions/topics by Friday 18th September.

GBN members can attend free of charge, and should book through our website. Non-members are very welcome to attend at a cost of £10 +VAT administration charge

The Green Business Network would like to thank Energise Ltd for partnering with us for this event.
